Concert Notes

Symphonic Endeavors attempts to bring the joy of music to all ages. All great music has the power to educate and give life to the profound Truth of our existence. When we hear a work, we are taken "inside" of a particular composer's feelings and life processes. In each of our programs we attempt to define an area in which this is true. In our Fall 2003 Concert guide we include a "Mission for our Children."

In our efforts to educate children we "emphasize the creativity that is within each child." These abilities may not be identical; nonetheless, a child needs to gain critical thinking techniques that will give them strengths that they may use throughout life. If we reach a single child, then we have met our goal. And, in this process, let us also remember our gracious God who gives us our abilities and who is our strength.
